352 - 1 = Boxes, boxes, boxes

As I'm sure I've mentioned before,
I'm moving.

I'm moving, 2 times.
Hoping this will be my last 2 times until I buy the house I plan on raising my family in.

Technically I'm not moving 2 times,
but this one particular move is happening in 2 stages.

The first, is all of my furniture and a few boxes,
and my pup, Katie Bubbles.

The second is myself, and my car, from Long Island, (after temporarily living with my Great Aunt)
heading down to Florida for GOOD!

If you know Katie and know that I might be crazy
you should already know that I don't function well without her.
She is my snuggle bear, my light, my smiles, and always there for me!

She will be moving to her Grandma's house until June, so that I can finish my commitment at work.
I'm jealous that she will be soaking up the SUNSHINE down in Florida without me.

This goal is something that needs to happen the right way or else I might go insane,
 the goal....

PACK BOXES AND KEEP THEM ORGANIZED

It's not a very impressive goal,
but I know that this has been something I've been inconsistent with in my
23 other moves.

Yes I said 23 other moves...it's not something I'm especially proud of,
but I've learned  A LOT,
and I know that I don't EVER want to move again!

I can't say that I have accumulated THAT much stuff,
(except much large furniture)
in my 3 years of living here....
however, it's enough that it won't fit into my car for my move back,
like it did for my way up.

I picked up 4, yes 4, boxes from the liquor store the other day.
I had some friends tell me to check there...
they have small, sturdy boxes,
that are great for moves, so the boxes aren't
TOO HEAVY!

I do have movers coming to move some boxes and my furniture,
but I don't want them to be overly cumbersome.

So, yesterday, I began the packing process.
I began with my cookbooks, books, and files.

I took down some of my art,
and went thru my clothes,
emptying out a few drawers and shelves of things I won't need anytime soon.

Katie tried to help, but got a little lazy.

My closet seems so bare.

It is so hard to believe that I am moving in less than a month!

It's happening fast,

but,

It's all out there in front of us~

353 - 1 = Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo!

"Salaga-doola, menchika-boola, Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo. Put them together, and what have you got? Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo. Salaga-doola, menchika-boola, Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo. It will do magic, believe it or not, Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo. Now, "Salagadoola" means, "A-Menchika-boola-roo," but the the thingamabob, that does the job, is "Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo."

" What in the world did I do with that magic wand? I-I was sure I..."
"Magic wand?"
"That's strange, I-I always..."
"Why, then you must be.."
"Your Fairy Godmother? Of course. Now, where is that wand? I- Oh! I forgot. I put it away."
- Fairy Godmother-Cinderella

Magic wand you ask??
Why yes, as a matter of fact, I have one!

I've used it in many occasions,
but this past week I found out that I'm going to get to use it
A LOT more than I have been.

I got to use it for my dear friends wedding,
and I use it regularly at work.
It's amazing,
EVERYTHING always gets done!!

Now, let me get something clear,
using my magic wand is not what this goal is about...
however, I might need to use it to accomplish this one goal in particular.

My goal~

KEEP A "SECRET"

Now this secret is not permanent,
it is to make sure all is ok,
but it is VERY HARD to keep.
I'm SO INCREDIBLY EXCITED about this secret.

I can't wait until I can shout it from the rooftops!!!!
The only clues I can give are...

 and

To the person who told me this secret,
it's safe with me,
even IF someone else knows and almost blew it!!
I am so honored to know this secret,
happy to be around to share this with you,
and I can't wait to use my magic wand on the regular!!
I love you dear friend,
I couldn't imagine life without you!
I'm so excited for you!!
XOXO times 2

It's all out there in front of us~

354 -1 = Skipping one, but coming back to it.

I'm thinking that in order to get a bunch of these done tonight,
that I might be jumping around in my numbers.

I have a few other goals written out above what this one is,
but I saw this one as an important one to start with.

I'll jump right out and say it~

GET BACK TO MY BLOGGING

As I sit here tonight,
looking at my list,
I have A LOT to write about.

I have continued to log in my journal, and write my goals down.
There are about 15 in there that need to be written about.

I'm not sure what has come over me to make my writing diminish.
Like I warned before,
I tend to get a bit busy aka lazy,
and the ability to be creative kind of escapes me.
I hope that once my schedule changes it will free up a bit more of that creativity.
I'm thinking that with moments to lay on the beach,
being with my babe all the time,
and working on the change of a lifetime (my lifetime),
I'll be pouring out the ideas.

343 days left in the year,
353 goals left to submit and complete~
Here I go....

It's all out there in front of us~

357 - 3 = Made with SUNSHINE

In an attempt to make up for lost time,
this might be a hefty post.
However, it might need to be broken up amongst a few.
We'll see how it goes.....

So it's easy to see how much I've been slacking this week.
I've been logging goals, trying to accomplish a few others,
and (as I warned you before) I became detained...
by laziness

I've been enjoying my week, not doing much of anything...
can you blame me with how cold it's been?

So, as far as my goals are concerned,
I have started goal making,
started the blog,
began taking more photos,
I've gotten the basics down for knitting,
sent out my first month of handmade cards,
and challenged myself to a crazy amount of running.

Considering my attempts, I haven't kept up with one of them,
THE BLOGGING
I'm finding myself going thru brief moments of disinterest.
It comes and goes...but tonight, it's here!
I'm sure this will be the case throughout the year.

Drum roll please.....
as I announce my next few goals.....

Number 356~

FINISH A GOOD BOOK ~ A FEW OF THEM!

I began my challenge of reading
(keep in mind, I like to read adventure books for young adults and children)
with a book that is co-written by one of my favorite authors,
Ridley Pearson
He wrote one of my favorite series,
The Kingdom Keepers
(it's about 5 kids who are chosen to keep Disney Parks safe from "Overtakers")
So I thought it couldn't be bad!
This book is the first in the Neverland Series.
It tells the story of Peter Pan...
I'm excited about what it has to offer.
I'm currently managing to read on my commute home on the train.
I alternate reading and knitting each commute.

My knitting is coming along...

Yes, I'm in a car there in that picture, but no I wasn't driving, I was sitting.
ALTHOUGH,
Learning to knit while driving might be QUITE the challenge ;-)
I will not be taking that on though,
SO THE WORLD IS SAFE!

I have a few knitting projects coming up,
I must learn a few more stitches,
and get some CUDDLY yarn.
Something tells me I need to just start cranking the knitting out!
Those projects will be well blogged about as soon as they have had their first stitch!

The cards are turning out very cute...
I'm wishing I had more supplies,
and even with an additional trip to the craft store this past weekend
I don't have EVERYTHING I need.
I'd like to accumulate a few scrapbooking things,
in order to make the cards everything they could be.
I am also finding out, that in these beginning stages,
the cards are individually costing less than buying them at the store,
but collectively costing more cause of all of the cute supplies I keep finding.

I am all set for the month of January on cards,
and next month there aren't many birthday's...
but there are 2 SPECIAL events that will require some creativity,
VALENTINE'S DAY
and
MIKE AND I'S 3 YEAR ANNIVERSARY
Looking forward to taking pictures of these cards.
They will be very unique and made with
SUNSHINE!

The next few goals will be some sort of a FEAT!

EAT PROPER MEALS
&
FIX MY SLEEPING PATTERNS

These will be somewhat difficult for me,
a challenge of no end I'm sure.

I am finding myself up until WAAAY too late at night,
not to mention,
eating food during those late night hours.

I sneak Nerds, make sandwiches, nibble on chips,
make and eat boxed macaroni and cheese...
ALL AROUND MIDNIGHT!

I'm sure it is leading into my LATE night falling asleep.
SO the challenge will be to shut everything down earlier...including the computer.
I think it will be easier when I move,
leaving me more time for my knitting and reading.
Until then,
please understand it's for a good cause if I am not on the computer late at night.

I do get the proper amount of sleep,
a whole 7-9 hours on the regular...
but I don't wake up early very well.
I would like to just have a few more minutes to myself in the mornings,
and if I don't get that sleep in,
I'm a GRUMP!
This is why I am setting this goal.

I took a few sunshine pics this week too,
one in particular, I thought was REALLY cool.
I happened to catch a
SNOWY SUN SHOWER

The snow came as soon as it came....
leaving a beautiful sunset.

It is January 17th.
Ending it here, makes it 11 goals set so far.
 Like I've said before,
some days will contain 1 or 3 or even none.

As long as I keep the count up, the princess notebook, and my heart open to some changes,
the goals should keep flowing!

It's all out there in front of us~

357 - 0 = Keep moving forward

"Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious… and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths." ~ Walt Disney

"Keep moving forward" is what I had to tell myself this morning when I woke up.

"Keep moving forward" is what I had to tell myself when I got home from work tonight.

"Keep moving forward" is what I had to tell myself when I went on my run tonight, in the COLD!
Can you see the theme here?

I'm not allowed to look backwards for very long,
I don't function well by doing that.

Last night I had a brief moment of frustration, and was in a bit of despair.
I am happy to say that it was purely a bit of crankiness within me that was making my goal "keeping" a significant amount more difficult to maintain,

I'm back....in FULL EFFECT!
Tired from a long day, but I'm back!

No goal in this post, as you can see...but I thought a little update might be nice.

I've been trying to take more pictures, as you already know....so here are a few that I've captured

I've also been getting my creative on,
so here are a few pictures to show what I've been busy working on

I'm learning, I'm creating, I'm doing.

Back to the craft store again this weekend to get MORE supplies!!

It's all out there in front of us~

Maybe a little frustration....

I'm feeling a bit depleted and defeated...
Not totally and completely.
I don't feel like quitting, just maybe I'm cranky.

I have gotten the basics down for my knitting
which is GREAT!
However,
tonight, I tried and I tried,
only to have the whole thing pulled out cause I knitted the tail into it!
A dumb mistake...

So tonight, the knitting needles will be going to bed,
as am I.

Hopefully I can fall asleep before 3am
(unlike the last 2 nights)

I'm thinking maybe a run is in store in the am.

Tonights post is brought to you by...
the letter S
for SLEEP!

Good night moon!

It's all out there in front of us~

358 - 1= ONE MORE FOR THE DAY

Just wanted to put one more little goal in for the day....

It's something I've been working on already,
but something that I would like to make a significant end to these goals I'm setting.

I'm already a runner...
I'm already registered to run in the
Walt Disney World Princess Half Marathon
in February
for the 2nd time.

But going on this weekend,
is the official
Marathon weekend.
My goal to finish all the goals in 2012 will be

RUN IN THE WALT DISNEY WORLD FULL MARATHON WITH A SPECIAL CHALLENGE OF COMPLETING THE HALF MARATHON THE SAME WEEKEND!
COMPLETE THE GOOFY CHALLENGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Call me crazy, but I WILL COMPLETE THIS!

A 39.3-mile adventure held over two days, participants will run the Half Marathon on Saturday, followed by the Marathon on Sunday.

That will make my official metal count and race count a total of 5!
I'm determined~
"All our dreams can come true — if we have the courage to pursue them" ~Walt Disney

Oh IT'S ON!

It' all out there in front of us~
